The Power of a Praying Woman

Furthermore, ladies, how are you doing today, and how has your week been? I have been receiving feedback from you all about my blogs, and I continue to be inspired to continue sharing.


Today we are diving into the topic that is: The Power of a Praying Woman - the importance thereof. This topic is dear to my heart as I have learnt that PRAYER is the most POWERFUL tool a woman can add to her belt. Those that know me know that I love being in that place of prayer. Every time I set the aside the time for God, I feel so empowered by His spirit Why, you ask? I have learnt the POWER that prayer carries; especially from a woman that loves the Lord.


Proverbs 31:30 - "Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised."

1. Prayer is an expression of love - Prayer is deeper than speaking words. It is the expression of the love you have for the Lord according to Matthew 22:37. It is having an understanding of your personal relationship with your Master - Jesus Christ. A relationship is built through communication, quality time, words of affirmation and acts of service with that person. How much more God? Prayer is a collation of these things to sustain your personal relationship with Him.


Matthew 22:37-38 - "Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."


2. Prayer is ammunition - The place of prayer is the way in which a woman can fortify with the armor of God around her family, household, finances, mental state and much more. When a woman understands how powerful prayer can be, she will be UNSTOPPABLE! When the enemy shoots arrows, prayer is the ammunition a woman needs to FIRE BACK!



3. Prayer strengthens your spirit - A strong spirit man is one that can not be swayed, compromised or take advantage of. When a woman prays it strengthens her spirit to graciously take on any task that is thrown her way. Ladies, we wear several hats that demands so much from us. For example, we are daughters, ministers, wives, businesswomen or mothers and it requires DIVINE STRENGTH to penetrate the mind, body, soul and most importantly, the spirit man. This is so we are not enticed by the temptations of this world.


Matthew 26:41 - "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”


These are some of the reasons why I believe prayer is powerful. I have seen the evidence of that power and still experiencing it. Before you finish reading, let us reflect. When was the last time you prayed? When was the last time you spent time in your prayer closet?
